Just as the Chinese are famous for creating fake cheaper copies of dolls, fashions, sunglasses and designer handbags, they also create fake art shows to delight the patrons. Artists Yayoi Kusama and Takashi Murakami are suing over fake exhibitions of their art that are on display in China. Yayoi Kusama is the world’s highest selling artist. (source her Documentary Film) Her works called Dots and her Exhibit called Infinity Mirrors sells out all over the world. (I could not get a ticket) Takashi Murakami is a cross between Yayoi Kusama and Andy Warhol. A show in Shanghai grouped fake works by all three-pop artist in an extravaganza. Yayoi Kusama’s exhibit Infinity Mirrors has been seen in Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Takashi Murakami’s exhibit has come to Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago.
